Position: Player Acquisition Manager (Asian Markets)

• Primary Focus:

The ideal candidate should have a strong focus on the Asian market, including China, Japan, South Korea, and Malaysia.

• Experience Requirement:

Previous experience working for an online casino with a significant Asian player base is essential.

As a Player Acquisition Manager specializing in the Asian market within the iGaming industry, you will lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives to acquire new players from diverse Asian regions. This role demands a deep understanding of the cultural nuances, regulatory landscape, and player preferences across Asian markets. You will collaborate closely with marketing, product, and analytics teams to drive user acquisition efforts, optimize campaigns, and capitalize on growth opportunities in this dynamic and rapidly evolving market.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Asian Market Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive player acquisition strategies tailored to different Asian markets, considering cultural sensitivities, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics.
  2. Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of acquisition campaigns across various channels such as PPC, SEO, social media, affiliate marketing, and mobile advertising, ensuring alignment with regional preferences and regulations.
  3. Localization and Cultural Sensitivity: Ensure all marketing communications, creatives, and campaigns are culturally relevant and resonate with target audiences in each Asian market. Collaborate with localization teams to adapt messaging and content accordingly.
  4. Partnership Development: Identify and establish strategic partnerships with local affiliates, influencers, and media outlets to enhance brand visibility and drive user acquisition in Asian markets.
  5. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the Asian iGaming landscape. Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry developments that may impact acquisition strategies.
  6. Budget Management: Manage acquisition budgets effectively, allocating resources to high-potential markets and channels while optimizing spend to achieve maximum ROI.
  7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams including marketing, product development, analytics, and compliance to align acquisition strategies with overall business objectives and ensure regulatory compliance.
  8. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track acquisition metrics such as cost per acquisition (CPA), conversion rates, retention, and lifetime value (LTV) for Asian markets. Present findings to stakeholders and provide actionable insights for optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing and user acquisition within the iGaming industry, with a focus on Asian markets.
  • Deep understanding of Asian cultures, languages, and consumer behaviors, particularly in key iGaming markets such as China, Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights to drive decision-making.
  • Experience with digital marketing channels and platforms commonly used in Asian markets, such as WeChat, LINE, KakaoTalk, Baidu, Naver, and local social media networks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding acquisition targets in Asian markets.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the iGaming industry, particularly in Asian jurisdictions, is preferred.
  • Certifications in digital marketing (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint) and proficiency in Asian languages are desirable.

• Salary Range: Competitive salary €50,000 to €70,000, plus bonus
