Oracle DBA – Database Administrator

Mission

The main tasks consist in maintaining multiple Oracle and SQL Server databases and related products, following reference architecture and standards, on our client’s internal systems as well as on live customer environments.

• You analyse, review, improve and document existing and future database components
• You ensure data integrity and maintain a high level of system availability
• You perform capacity planning and performance tuning
• You determine methods and procedures in new assignments and provide guidance to colleagues and customers
• You provide expertise in the areas related to Oracle and SQL Server database technologies
• You assist internal development and support teams

Profile

• You have a Master’s degree in Computer Science and equivalent experience
• At least 11 years of experience in IT projects or 13 years of experience in IT projects
• You have the ability to participate in multilingual meetings: to understand, speak and write French and English (B2 level)
• You have the ability to work in a team of a multi-cultural environment, on a large project
• You have excellent communication skills

Knowledge / Experience

• You have in-depth knowledge of:
  • SQL – including performance tuning
  • PL/SQL
• You have good knowledge of:
  • Java/J2EE (strong asset)
  • Linux/Unix
  • WebLogic Servers
  • Eclipse
  • Tomcat
  • Atlassian suite (Jira, Git/Bitbucket, Bamboo, Confluence, Butler) MANDATORY
  • Agile methodology
• You are a specialist in database related activities in the release management process
• You have good knowledge of application development environments
• You have the capability to write clear and structured technical documents

Please note that candidates must be eligible for Security Clearance in Begium and Candidates must be Freelancers (no umbrella)

Rate: A) upto 430€/day (all inclusive) maybe negotiable

B) 375€/day (all inclusive) maybe negotiable

Mandatory: 

A) Master degree + 13 years of experience in IT

B) Master degree + 11 years of experience in IT

Duration: 100 workings day (+ possible extension)
