One of our exciting clients aiming to revolutionise e-commerce is looking for a Data Engineer to join their growing, specialist BI/Data team.

Your task is:

develop key processes for data-retrieval, processing and uploads into Marketing tools (e.g. Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Google BigQuery, bid management systems, marketing DWH)
develop automated smart algorithms for bid management, A/B-test management and continuous optimization
as part of the Data Engineering / Data Science team: play a central role in our data-driven strategy, designing and developing our data infrastructure, processes and analytics

You offer:

at least 2 years experience as a Data Engineer or as Software Engineer in building scalable data systems
ideally good knowledge of API’s for Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Google BigQuery
experience in developing cross platforms ETL processes, maintaining systems for tracking data quality and consistency and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex data sets
experience with Python,Spark and Docker are a must
experience with Kafka is a plus
English is a must, German a plus
