Data Analyst – Fully Remote

One of our global gambling clients with offices in Barcelona are looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our team. We’re a quickly growing African gambling business with millions of customers. We’re looking for an ambitious data lover who can help us dig through mountains of
betting data, make sense of it and help the business to make data driven decisions

Responsibilities
• Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques
• Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize
statistical efficiency and quality
• Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases

Requirements

Should have 2-3 years experience minimum in a similar position  
• High level of competence and ability to think outside of the box !
• High level of proficiency in SQL
• Being highly organised
• Communication is must: You’ll be working with colleagues and clients in multiple countries and must be
able to present your ideas clearly, concisely, and proactively.
• Ability to present your findings in the most accurate way without overexplaining or using big words
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Handling prioritization and working on queues of tasks
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude

Plus
• Experience with data lakes and/or big data
• Python and/or R is a plus willingness to learn is a must
